"Rented the Remija for the day — discovered great little secluded beaches along the pretty coastline with crystal clear waters. Highly recommended."

Why boat-access beaches are different.
A beach is not a beach when you arrive by boat. The boat is the arrival; that arrival is what skips the parking, the stair descent, the towel-row already laid down at ten. You anchor offshore, swim in, eat on the boat, and leave when the light starts to slide. Same beach, different day.
Without the parking, the descent, the row of laid-down towels — the boat changes what the beach is. Even if you've only ever arrived by car, the harbour is eight steps from where you parked yours. Finally — the beach the brochure can't ruin, because the brochure can't sell you the anchor stop.
Beaches around Rabac.
Maslinica Beach — 5 minutes from Rabac
Blue Flag, 500 m of pebbles, the long-and-mellow beach. Full facilities if you need them; anchor offshore and you don't.
Girandella Beach — 3 minutes from Rabac
Blue Flag, beach-bar atmosphere, watersports rental on the sand. The livelier mood. Has a partial FKK section at one end — worth knowing.
South Rabac Snorkel Loop — 8 to 15 minutes south
Three coves visited as one half-day: Prtlog peninsula, Drenje & Ravni snorkel twins, Sveta Marina reef walls. Reef-grade water, no land tourists. Best self-drive day for the no-licence boats.
Sveti Ivan Beach, Lubenice (Cres) — 60–70 minutes (boat-dependent)
The hero. White pebbles below medieval cliffs, ranked #1 of 426 beaches in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar region. No toilets, showers, or dining options — pack water, food, shade. Boats start coming in from 9am; by 12pm there are many boats crowding the water — so we leave Rabac at 9 to get the cave colours less busy. The Blue Cave is around the corner of the same bay. Boats: licensed speedboats only.
The boat for the beach day.
- Rabac core beaches (Maslinica / Girandella) + South Rabac snorkel loop: any boat including Dalmatinka and Remija (no licence) — short hops, sheltered water
- Sveti Ivan / Cres: Cap Camarat (range + 12 seats) or one of the 8-seat licensed speedboats — Invictus, Key Largo 20, FIART
About beach days.
Can I do all the Rabac beaches in one day?
Easily. The two Blue Flag beach stops (Maslinica + Girandella) are minutes apart; pair with the South Rabac snorkel loop for a fuller half-day. Sveti Andrija is a short walk from the harbour itself — easy to add on land. The wizard at Plan Your Trip builds the combo.
Why is Sveti Ivan a full day, not a half?
60–70 minutes each way at cruise speed (boat-dependent). You want at least three hours at the beach plus the Blue Cave. The math is full-day.
Anchor offshore or beach the boat?
Depends on the boat and the beach. The Rabac beaches accept either; Sveti Ivan is anchor-offshore + swim ashore (small protected bay). We brief on the day.
What about the famous Cres lamb lunch?
That's the konoba leg — Nonina Konoba's lamb peka, ordered in advance, paired with the Sveti Ivan beach day. → The Open Adriatic experience wires the whole day together.
