The promise.

Sheltered, simple, easy. Large awning for sun protection. Easy steering wheel control. The boat sits low in the water and is built for calm coastal cruising — Rabac beaches, the riviera coves, Plomin Bay. It won't take you to Cres (the engine is too small for the run) but for everything within 5 nautical miles of Rabac harbour, it's the right boat.

Licence.

No licence needed to drive the Dalmatinka. The 20 HP engine sits under the Croatian threshold (15 kW) for licence-free recreational use. We give you a 20-minute briefing covering: throttle, steering, anchor, the route, what to do if the engine cuts out, who to call.

What's included.

Full tank at handover. Life jackets adult + kid sizes. Anchor. Bilge / safety kit. Phone-on-call to Dražen during your rental. Insurance: Generali Osiguranje.

On board.

The Dalmatinka is the boat for guests who've never driven a boat and want to come back saying they did. You leave Rabac harbour at 9 — engine humming, awning up — and within fifteen minutes you're in your own cove. That cove is the kind reviewers describe as "great little secluded beaches with crystal clear waters" — and the boat is what makes them reachable. The pace is the point. You won't be racing anyone; you're going to anchor and swim. That's the whole offer.

About this boat.

Do I really need zero documents?

You need ID (passport or EU ID card). Not a boating licence — the 20 HP engine is under the Croatian threshold. We log your ID for the rental record; that's all.

Can kids ride on the Dalmatinka?

Yes — kid-sized life jackets included. The boat is calm and sheltered; well-suited to families with small kids.

What if the engine stops?

Phone Dražen. He's on call during your rental. We'll either talk you through a restart (most common — flooded carb, fuel valve) or come out to you.

Can two adults take the Dalmatinka for a romantic day?

Yes — the boat doesn't need a full crew. Two adults, an awning, a cooler, a quiet cove. Many of our most-loved bookings.

What if I've never driven a boat? Honest answer.

Ten minutes in and you'll forget you're a beginner. Throttle, steering, basic rules of the road — we cover it all on the dock before you cast off. Dalmatinka is calm, slow and forgiving. Phone Dražen any time during the day if anything feels off.

Can we book a skipper anyway — and how discreet are they?

Yes. Even on a 20 HP no-licence boat, plenty of guests prefer the day off. Our skippers are quiet, local, off the conversation; he handles the boat so you can handle the swim and the cooler.
